If you are prescribed antidepressants, it’s important to inform your doctor about any drugs you are currently taking, as antidepressants can interact with a number of different types of drugs, and some combinations can be dangerous.
Where combinations of psychiatric drugs are known to interact, these have been listed further in this course. Sometimes, a number of interacting psychiatric drugs are prescribed together, which can add to the adverse effects of the individual drugs.
